Kldis Tetra is a white grape of Kakheti; in Georgian “tetra” means “white” and “klde” means “cliff”, so the name reads literally as “white of the cliffs”.
One of the hundreds of rare native Georgian varieties; most survived only in collection plantings and are now gradually returning to winemaking.
