A hotel above the Old Town

The story of the Ambassadori began in 2004 not with a hotel but with a restaurant. It opened in an old district on the right bank of the Mtkvari, on Shavteli Street, and the view of the Old Town from it was so good that tourists came for that alone. That is what gave the owners the idea of building a hotel in place of the restaurant, at first a very small one with only seven rooms.
The hotel quickly became a well-known place for locals and visitors alike, and the rooms were no longer enough. In 2013 it was decided to add a new building to the old one, designed by Italian architects and designers, and today the Ambassadori has 121 rooms, from standard rooms to family and corner suites and a royal suite.
The hotel's greatest asset is still its terraces and their view: from them you look out over the roofs of the Old Town and the river. There are the Daira and Mozaiko restaurants, the latter with its own terrace, a spa and a beauty salon, and the building also has a casino.
