Kancellaria

A natural wine bar with an open kitchen on Ingorokva Street

Kancellaria calls itself a neighbourhood natural wine bar. It is small, sits on Pavle Ingorokva Street in old Tbilisi, candles burn in the evening and the kitchen opens straight onto the room. The list holds dozens of bottles from small Georgian wineries, with many Imeretian whites: Tsitska, Tsolikouri, Krakhuna. There are amber wines too, and guests are gladly offered a couple to taste before they choose.

The menu is short: fish tacos, asparagus with chimichurri, glazed carrots with goat cheese, steak with café de Paris sauce, flatbreads with toppings. Cocktails are mixed here as well. Space is limited, so it is best to book a table ahead, and a single guest is seated at the bar. The bar is open from four in the afternoon until one at night, and until two on Fridays and Saturdays.
